赣江源国家级自然保护区是江西“母亲河”千里赣江的源头所在地，有为赣江源源不断地注入14亿立方米以上优质|类水，素有“江西水塔”之称根据规划的“山水工程”试验方案，将运用山水林田湖草生态系统修复与治理理念，探索实施山林雨缸技术，达到“四防、三产、两山"的复合功能"四防”就是防洪、防火、防害、防旱。“三产”就是建立水、林、游等新业态。壮大水产业:利用雨缸储水功能，平衡雨水分布，增加水资源产品种类和总量，扩大水产业规模，提升林产业:雨缸的自然蒸腾为林木构建了优越而稳定的条件，形成"热带雨林”似的生态环境，改善森林、灌草等植物生长机理，丰富生物多样性，提高林木生长速度，提前实现碳达峰碳中和目标，发展旅游产业:提高生态旅游、全域旅游、康养等产业水平，提高区域生态价值，推动区域生态产业。两山”就是将山林雨水转化为绿水青山和金山银山。"山水工程”试验分别根据不同地类(阔叶林、针阔混交林、毛竹林、针叶林等)、采取不同密度(带状、块状、点状)放置水缸，将赣江源国家级自然保护区巨大的生物多样性价值、酒养水源价值、净化空气价值、固碳价值、土壤保持价值等森林生态系统服务价值转换为推动石城经济社会发展的强大动力，努力构建以生态优先、绿色发展为导向的高质量发展新路子，推动赣江源国家级自然保护区成为绿水青山转化为金山银山的实践创新示范基地，形成在全国范围内可推广、可复制的模式、经验、做法。
The Gan River Source National Nature Reserve is the source of Jiangxi's "Mother River," the Thousand-Mile Gan River. It is known as the "Water Tower of Jiangxi" because it incessantly supplies over 1.4 billion cubic meters of high-quality Type I water. According to the planned "Mountain and Water Project" experimental scheme, it will employ the concepts of ecological system restoration and management for mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, and grasslands. The project aims to explore and implement mountain rainwater harvesting technology to achieve a composite function of "four defenses, three productions, and two mountains." "Four defenses" refer to flood prevention, fire prevention, pest prevention, and drought prevention. "Three productions" involve establishing new business forms such as water industry, forestry, and tourism; enhancing the water industry by utilizing the water storage function of rain barrels to balance rainfall distribution, increase the variety and total volume of water resources products, expand the scale of the water industry, and improve the forestry industry: the natural transpiration from rain barrels creates superior and stable conditions for trees, forming an environment similar to a "tropical rainforest," improving the growth mechanisms of forests, shrubs, and grasses, enriching biodiversity, accelerating tree growth, and achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals ahead of schedule; developing the tourism industry by enhancing ecotourism, comprehensive tourism, health tourism, and other industries, increasing regional ecological value, and promoting regional ecological industries. "Two mountains" refer to transforming mountain rainwater into lush green waters and mountains of gold and silver. The "Mountain and Water Project" experiments place water barrels at different densities (strip, block, point) according to different land types (broadleaf forest, mixed coniferous and broadleaf forest, bamboo forest, coniferous forest, etc.), converting the vast biodiversity value, water conservation value, air purification value, carbon sequestration value, and soil retention value of the forest ecosystem services in the Gan River Source National Nature Reserve into a powerful driving force for the economic and social development of Shicheng County. It strives to build a new path of high-quality development guided by ecological priority and green development, promote the Gan River Source National Nature Reserve as a practical innovation demonstration base for transforming lush green waters into mountains of gold and silver, and form models, experiences, and practices that are promotable and replicable nationwide.
