The place where we are now has a very pleasant name, known as "Birdsong Gully." The locals say that every night, birds come and play around here, their clear and melodious calls breaking the silence of the night sky. Hence, this place has been dubbed "Birdsong Gully." Amidst the falling flowers and tranquil nights, when the moon rises and startles the birds, they sing among the mountains, offering a unique charm. However, not many people come here specifically at night to experience it; during the day, it's all about serendipity. Perhaps if there are too many people, the little birds might get startled and fly away.
"Birdsong Gully" by Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty:
When leisurely, osmanthus petals fall, in the quiet of night, spring mountains lie empty.
The moon's emergence startles the mountain birds, who occasionally call out from the spring gully.
