Now we arrive at "Ying Creek," where the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxi wrote a poem titled "Journey to Peach Blossom Spring." Two lines from it read:

Peach blossoms fill the creek, water like a mirror, yet the heart's dust cannot be washed away.

Seekers of immortality vanish without a trace, leaving behind streams and mountains layer upon layer.

In this secluded paradise of overlapping streams and mountains, perhaps we can use this "immortal water" to cleanse our hearts of their "dust-like filth." Imagine, at the beautiful source of the Gan River, in springtime when the waters are full and peach blossoms float down, turning into specks of pink that reflect on the tranquil surface of the water. However, the dust in our hearts is as hard to erase as stubborn stones; only this creek, flowing quietly, tells the tale of time's relentlessness and forgiveness.

"Journey to Peach Blossom Spring" · Tang Dynasty · Liu Yuxi

The fishing boat waves its oar, floating on the Wuling waters.

Casting nets and bait, trusting the current, they drift into the Peach Blossom Spring for miles.

Searching for clear sources among endless flowers, they tread through petals to a cave entrance.

The cave door darkens with rising smoke, and after several steps in darkness, they find light.

Mortals startled by the sight of celestial beings, they rush to ask how they came here.

In no time, their icy faces break into smiles, questioning the world with intricate words.

They lament their hidden lives cultivating jade, unaware that the human world flickers like a candle in the wind.

Stone marrow feasts invite guests to dine, while pine resin lamps keep them company through the night.

Chicken and dog sounds faintly heard, dawn breaks with verdant clouds opening up.

The fisherman shakes his clothes and steps outside, finding no path amidst a courtyard of scattered flowers.

Fearing he might lose track of his homeland, he refuses to stay even for a moment in this peach blossom paradise.

Peach blossoms fill the creek, water like a mirror, yet the heart's dust cannot be washed away.

Seekers of immortality vanish without a trace, leaving behind streams and mountains layer upon layer.
